More Reasons to send Flowers in November
Thanksgiving is one of the biggest holidays celebrated in November. However, there are other opportunities to send or buy flowers this month. Here are a few different ways to send flowers.
Nov 1 & 2 - Day of the Dead is usually celebrated in Mexico and the United States. This is a two-day holiday that reunites the living and the dead. Families create ofrendas (Offerings) to honor their departed family members who have passed. These altars are decorated with flowers, mostly with bright yellow marigolds. Of course, food and drinks are also a big part of the celebrations! #DayOfTheDead
Nov 11 - Veterans Day is when we pay special tributes to the veterans. This is the day we honor those who served in the United States military. They have given so much for their country and ours. Show gratitude to them on this day! #VeteransDay
Nov 13 - World Kindness is a day where you take the time to do something positive for someone you care about. Sending flowers to someone you know, show them you’re there for them. They will love the kind gesture. #WorldKindnessDay
Nov 25 - Small Business Saturday takes place the day after Black Friday. This encourages consumers to shop for local small businesses by ordering curated and personalized gifts from small companies and flower shops. Support your local florist by calling your Christmas wreath, centerpiece, or holiday plant in advance. #ShopSmall
No matter the reason to send flowers this month, it’s always a great option. Whatever your season or reason, contact your local florist or visit. They’re to send beautiful arrangements that will surely bring a smile to anyone's face.
