Classic Christmas Touch : Poinsettias

Here comes Christmas!! This is one of my favorite holidays to decorate. Whether you are at home or office, there is one thing in common - the spirit of the holiday is felt everywhere! 

Let’s start with the iconic Poinsettia. Add a Christmas touch to your outdoor décor or bring in the holiday festivities indoors. Did you know that there are at least 100 different varieties of Poinsettias? Different colors include red, white, pink, green, yellow, bicolored, variegated, and novelty types. But here are five of the most common types that we can find around your local florist.  

1. Red is the classic color this plant is known for and the easiest to find at any flower shop or grocery store. 

2. Jingle Bells varieties are other ones that may be easier to find. The bright crimson red with white flecks. These are so fun to look at! 

3. Pink or muted pink colors can also be found in mid-season. 

4. Cream or white poinsettias can also be found early in the holiday season.
