When to Start
Because we can only accept a certain number of weddings on a given day, it is important to contact us well in advance of your big day—usually at least three months in advance. If your wedding will be an exceptionally elaborate event, starting six months to a year ahead is recommended.
Working within Your Budget
By considering your budget from the beginning, we can give you the best advice on using flowers for maximum effect. The cost of flowers differs depending on any number of factors. If you marry around Valentine's Day, expect roses to be at a premium. If you wed in winter, certain flowers will be harder to come by hence, more expensive. Obviously, all costs are proportionally higher if you have a very large wedding. So, what should you expect to spend on your wedding flowers? About 8 - 9% of your wedding budget is standard for floral costs. This covers the bride's bouquet, bridesmaids' bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and ceremony and reception flowers. Consultation
The initial consultation with our floral designer gives us basic information, helping us make your wedding just what you envision. The more details you can provide, the better. Photos are extremely helpful. Pictures from magazines showing floral designs you like, as well as pictures of your dress, your bridesmaids' dresses, and the venue, are all useful to us for planning.
