What began as a fictional holiday for women to honor women has merged into real life as more women learn to celebrate this fabulous day. Galentine’s Day is about “ladies celebrating ladies'': your friend, co-worker, family member, or personal hero. Yes, even yourself! We want everyone to stay safe. This means it's time to get creative in celebrating our Galentine’s Day.
In honor of Galentine’s Day, make sure you connect and give appreciation with a gift of deep meaning to your pals. Here are a few ideas:
Flowers this time of the year are a popular tradition. This can be anything from spring tulips, fancy peonies, or roses to stylish mini calla lilies. A bunch of colorful alstroemerias will continue blooming even after they are received. Don’t forget those famous desert succulents that can be replanted for an even more lasting gift.
Pampering gift baskets is always at the top of my list. Take the time to make a simple gift basket with top favorites like scented candles, face masks, body butter, loofah, bath bombs, and lip balm. Maybe even add a creamy hand lotion. Hand cream sounds amazing with all the constant hand washing and sanitizing throughout the year.
What about delicious Galentine’s treats? That’s right, chocolates, chocolate-covered strawberries, or favorite snacks. Pick some and drop them off at her doorstep, or get some delivered.
Do you and your girls like wine? Pick up a bottle and drop it off. This year is different, but there is no wrong way to celebrate with your best friend! So gather the girls and make it a Zoom Galentine’s event!
